Maman hosts a lot of dinners for her friends in Paris and she gets very creative with the nibbles she serves before sitting her guests down to dinner. These cherry tomato pops are a deliciously creative amuse bouche idea... they are easy to make and loved by everyone. Bon appetit!

12 cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup sugar to make caramel
Toasted sesame seeds
12 mini serving skewers of your choice
1. Make caramel by heating up sugar in small saucepan until it becomes dark brown and runny (do not add water).
2. For each tomato, stab it with a skewer and dip 1/3 of it in the caramel, then in sesame seeds. Make sure sesame seeds cover the the whole caramel surface.
3. Repeat steps and serve as appetizer.
