BANANA & CHERRY MOUSSE (by Maman)

Maman used to make these for us when we were kids... we loved the creamy texture and the sweet fruity flavors plus she loved the fact that these taste better when they are made with slightly over-ripe bananas. It's a waste-free indulgence. Bon appetit!


Serves 6  l  Difficulty: very easy  l  Prep time: 15min  l  Total time: 15min


INGREDIENTS

5 bananas, over ripe 

4 tablespoons berry jam 

1/2 lemon, juiced

1/2 cup coconut, shaved

1/2 cup fresh cherries

STEPS

1. Mix all ingredients into a blender, until smooth.

2. Pour the mixture into 6 glasses or small bowls. 

3. Top each serving with shaved coconut & 2 to 3 whole cherries.

4. Store in fridge and enjoy cool.
