When in LA, the land of green drinks, I made a power banana & matcha tea smoothie. It's the perfect breakfast recipe that is loaded with superfoods like spirilina and matcha. Bon appetit!


Serves 1  l  Difficulty: very easy  l  Prep time: 5min  l  Total time: 10min


INGREDIENTS
2 sliced bananas
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or soy)
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
1 tablespoon spirilina (optional)
1 teaspoon agave
1 cup baby spinach or kale (optional) 

STEPS
1. Add all ingredients into a blender. 

2. With Nutribullet, Blend for 60 to 90 seconds until the mixture is smooth. Add ice for a thicker smoothie or milk to thin the smoothie
