LEMON & ROSEMARY PIZZA (by Maman)

For the Summer, fresh, quick and extremely flavorful and fragrant, this lemon and rosemary pizza is a spin on the somewhat heavy traditional pizza. Adding lemon toppings makes it lighter for hot Summer days. Serve it as an appetizer or with an arugula salad... Bon appetit!


Serves 4  l  Difficulty: very easy  l  Prep time: 15min  l  Total time: 35min


INGREDIENTS

1-1.5 lb Pizza dough (750g)

Thinly shaved parmesan cheese, enough to cover the whole pizza (50g)

1 Red onion, sliced very thinly

2 lemons, sliced very thinly

Sprigs of fresh rosemary

Freshly ground pepper 

Olive oil, for drizzling

STEPS

1. Roll out the pizza dough flat and pre-heat the oven at 425F (180-220C)

2. Cover the dough with the parmesan, lemon slices and onions. 

3. Sprinkle the rosemary to cover the whole pie, add the pepper and drizzle the toppings with the olive oil.

4. Bake in oven for 20 minutes and enjoy!
