Inspired by her childhood spent in Algeria and the Reunion Island, Maman likes refreshing recipes! Here, she makes a refreshing cold soup that mixes sweet melon with garden favorites such as ripe figs (from our garden in the South of France) for a sweetened spin on traditional tomato-based gazpacho. 3.5 tablespoons of cachaca
3.5 tablespoons of sugar cane sirup
Lots of salt and black pepper
2 slices of proscuitto
1. Mix all ingredients together (but the prosciutto) and place to cool in the fridge.
2. Serve as appetizer with chips of baked prosciutto (bake for 5 min) and fresh figs.
